The historic Y Plas houses 3 of the festivals venue spaces inluding a 250 seat hall, a 50 seat room and the 70 seat Vortex round. It also contains a bar area adjacent to the theatre space, and a cafe in the main Plas Machynlleth building. On the lawns of Y Plas is the box office and our large tented social space along with food and drink vendors.

An intimate 20 seat venue in the historic Royal House.

Rag and Bone

On the main street you'll find a Rag and Bone shop by day, and a venue by night.

Owain Glyndwr Centre

The historic Welsh parliament building provides the perfect hub for the festival. The two intimate rooms host many of the events at the festival, and provide festival goers the perfect opportunity to get up-close and personal with some of the UK's best comedy talent. Beer tent also located here!

This year we’ll be plonked in the middle of Machynlleth and running from noon on Saturday.  There’s only room for four people at a time though, so be warned. Audience participation pretty much mandatory. 20 minute spots will run throughout the weekend on a first come, first serve walk-up basis.
