Where can I purchase tickets?
You can purchase tickets in advance here. On the festival weekend you can purchase tickets from Box Office which will be located in the Senedd at the Owain Glyndwr Centre.
Where can I pick up my tickets?
This year any tickets bought in advance will have a link to download and print your tickets. Do this, and then just head for the venue the show is in. Missing your download link? Email firstname.lastname@example.org for it to be re-sent.
Can I buy a single ticket for the whole weekend?
Because Machynlleth Comedy Festival is about seeing live comedy in small spaces we can’t offer a weekend ticket due to the variation in venue capacity. Some veues hold an audience of 30 and some hold 300. Instead we aim to keep prices as low as possible so that everyone is able to choose their own weekend of comedy. Shows will sell out - keep up to date with the latest news via our Facebook and Twitter pages
Is it all comedy?
Nope. 2016 sees our largest ever schedule of free music events, theatre shows, cabaret and a lively children's programme. See the What's On section of the website for more details.
How will I find my way around the site?
All festival venues and areas are within short walking distance. You will find a full list of venues and areas here. A map will also be included in your festival programme.
Now in our third year the festival campsite continues in style! The site is just behind the Bowling Club, just a few minutes walk from all of the festival venues. There's showers, proper toilets and free onsite parking Weekend camping all for just £30 per person. This will allow you access to the campsite from Friday 28th to Monday 1st May. You can book your camping pitch soon.
There are also live-in vehicle pitches for motorhomes, caravans and trailer tents at just £65 (which include 2 campsite wristbands). You'll have plenty of room to set up awnings/gazebos and get yourself settled in for the weekend. Click here to book your pitch.
For those looking for a little extra comfort we have bell tents and yurts available to hire, complete with wood burners and heaters from Fred’s Yurts. Click here to check out more from Fred...
