FAQ's

TICKET INFORMATION

Where can I purchase tickets?

Ticket links will be available here once the programme goes live. On the festival weekend you can purchase tickets from Box Office which will be located in the Senedd at the Owain Glyndwr Centre.

Where can I pick up my tickets?

This year any tickets bought in advance will have a link to download and print your tickets. Do this, and then just head for the venue the show is in. Missing your download link? Email boxoffice@machcomedyfest.co.uk for it to be re-sent.

Can I buy a single ticket for the whole weekend?

Because Machynlleth Comedy Festival is about seeing live comedy in small spaces we can’t offer a weekend ticket due to the variation in venue capacity. Venues hold an audience of between 30 - 500. Instead we aim to keep prices as low as possible so that everyone is able to choose their own weekend of comedy. Shows will sell out - keep up to date with the latest news via our Facebook and Twitter pages

Is it all comedy?

Nope. 2017 sees our largest ever schedule of free music events, theatre shows, cabaret and a lively children's programme. See the What's On section of the website for more details.

FESTIVAL SITE

How will I find my way around the site?

All festival venues and areas are within short walking distance. You will find a full list of venues and areas here. A map will also be included in your festival programme.

CAMPING

Our official festival campsite continues in style! The site is just behind the Bowling Club, just a few minutes walk from all of the festival venues. There's showers, proper toilets and free onsite parking Weekend camping all for just £35 per person. This will allow you access to the campsite from Friday 4th to Monday 7th May. You can book your camping pitch soon.

FOOD AND DRINK

What are my options?

The town of Machynlleth is filled with charming cafes, pubs and restaurants so take time out to explore.

We have three official bars on site. Our main one - the Beech Bar -  on the lawn of Y Plas (home to our 50 cask festiv-ale), one on the lawns of the Owain Glyndwr Centre by the box office and another servicing the Mach Arena on court at the Squash Bar,

We also have a number of delicious festival food stalls on site.
