FESTIVAL CAMPING 2024
***Campsite opens from 10am on Friday 3rd May 2024.***
Our bespoke festival campsite returns in our usual location in the field behind the Co-Op in the centre of town.
New for 2024 – separate campsite for tents and live in vehicles
To provide more space and improve safety for all, this year the camping options are split over two fields:
– one field for General Camping (Tent camping, Glamping and Car Parking)
– one field for Live in Vehicles (Caravans, Campervans and Motorhomes).
The fields are right next to each other, separated by a small lane.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The vehicle route in for GENERAL CAMPING will be different to previous years.
Please see below for full details…
General Campsite (Tent Camping, Glamping & Car Parking)
This is the same field as previous years but accessed via a different route.
ALL vehicular traffic for this campsite needs to come in this way (via the Treowain Enterprise Park entrance).
Heading up Maengwyn Street (away from the clocktower), take a right turn after Huw Lewis tyres onto Forge Road.
From the East (heading from Cenmaes) then turn left just before Hennighans Top Shop as you arrive into town onto Forge Road.
Drive for a few hundred yards up Forge Road to turn into the Industrial Estate and the campsite gate is at the end.

Live in Vehicle Campsite
This is accessed via Llynlloed Lane (previously the way in for all) but leads into the new field next to General Camping.
It is a right turn off Maengwyn Street just before the Co-Op if you are heading from the clock tower.
If you are coming in the opposite direction, turn left off Maengwyn Street just after the Co-Op onto Llynlloed Lane.
The Live in Vehicle Campsite Entrance is at the the end of Llynlloed Lane, going in through the right hand gateway into the field which will be clearly signposted.

Pedestrian / non vehicular traffic
Entry to both campsites for pedestrians / non-vehicular traffic is via Llynlloed lane as previous years.

Car Parking
To try and encourage car sharing and reduce the numbers of vehicles at the festival, there is a car parking charge of £10 per vehicle. These need to be purchased in advance as well as camping tickets. Only the driver will require a Camping + Parking ticket.
Campervans, Caravans and Trailer Tents
If you’ve got a live-in vehicle you want to bring, that costs just £50 per vehicle. This year, this Live in Vehicles will be in their own field right next to the general camping area and will have all the same facilities available.
Important note: this pass is for the vehicle only. You will also need to purchase camping wristbands for every person staying in the vehicle.
Cars towing caravans / trailer tents do not need an additional car parking pass.
Unfortunately electric and water hook ups aren’t available with LiV pitches. Campsite opens from 10am on Friday 3rd May 2024.
Fred’s Yurts
Do you crave some luxury camping? Fred’s Yurts are the answer.
With their range of spacious bell tents and cosy yurts, enjoy arriving to your home from home in the heart of the festival. Tents kitted out with winter bedding, blankets, cushions and roaring wood burners will provide a warm and snug space to retreat back to at the end of your day.
Important note:
As with all outdoor facilities, our campsite provision can be affected by prolonged adverse weather conditions in the lead up to the festival weekend.
In such circumstances, MCF will make every effort to provide an alternative campsite as close as possible to the original site. In the event of this being located further out, complimentary transport will be provided to and from town.
In the event of extreme weather conditions where no alternative sites are available, all camping tickets (and associated show tickets on request) will be refunded in full.
