Calling Powys Artists

We’re very proud to be involved in Powys Arts Month this coming May, a month long celebration of the Arts in Powys. As part of the event we’re looking for a Powys based artist to take on commission for the festival. Powys Arts Month have commissioned 3 new works for the Hay Literature Festival, Oriel Davies Gallery and the Machynlleth Comedy Festival. You can download the commission guidelines by clicking here.

We would like the commission to respond to the festival taking place in the town and adding to the experience for visitors that weekend. Whether it’s a performance or an installation we would like it to reflect the alternative nature of the festival and focus on individual experience.
