A best of. Sort of.

It hasn’t quite worked, has it? I mean, we’re basically fine, good even, but it still hasn’t quite taken off. We’ve turned up on a few TV shows, had a nice spot on Radio 4 but, let’s face it, no-one really knows who we are.

Still, this should be good. It’s the best stuff we’ve ever written, with some new bits in-between that seemed funny when we wrote them. Our director, Matt, laughed really loudly. And he’s a miserable sod at the best of times. Also, people have said nice things about us – look: “Hilarious” – The Guardian. “Lively and Ambitious” – The Times. “Wonderfully Funny” – Time Out. That’s good, isn’t it?

If you want to know what we’re like, some would say “Cleverly crafted sketches that hark back to the glory days of the Two Ronnies or Morecambe and Wise”. Which is a great quote. But it’s from a thing called ThreeWeeks. You’ve probably never heard of them either. So, a great quote, but for an act you’ve never heard of, by a reviews publication you’ve never heard of.

It’s a tricky one, isn’t it? We’re probably worth taking a punt on, if Henry doesn’t overprice the tickets.
