This show is from a previous year's festival

DISCLAIMER: I did this show at Machynlleth last year, but now it is way better as the scraps of paper have been replaced by a screen and a projector, and the second half of the show makes sense. Please come. I am really worried that the supreme hubris of doing this show again may be about to blow up in my stupid face.

A show about why we take offence, what to do when the internet steals your face and what a man vomming on a train says about modern Britain. Fresh from critically acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh Fringe & the Soho Theatre as well as a run at the Melbourne Festival (no idea how this will go as it hasn’t happened yet – it could have been a disaster or I may not even be at Mach due to being crowned King of Australia).

As seen on Comedy Central. As heard on BBC Radio 4. Also he’s a brilliant dude.

‘A smart, gag-heavy show questioning identity, anonymity and what causes offence. Slick, sharp and with oodles of charm, Nish Kumar is a comedian, and a bloody good one at that.’

★★★★ Time Out

‘Another excellent show…. weighty subjects, quality delivery.’

★★★★ The List

‘Consistently thoughtful and skilfully delivered… tells great stories.’

★★★★ Evening Standard

‘Brilliantly executed…. a show that should win Kumar a lot more fans.’

★★★★ Bruce Dessau, Beyond the Joke

‘A comedian on the up…. An ingenious, witty look at identity that suggests Kumar will soon be getting known for all the right reasons.’
