This show is from a previous year's festival

This is Turps’ open love-letter. Part stand-up, part keynote presentation, part anecdotal love-in, “A Brother For Jonathan” is a show about his body, his father, self-congratulation, and the circumstances surrounding his birth. His mum saw it and she was “tickled”.

The difficult first album.

(Patrick Turpin has performed at Latitude, Glastonbury, & End Of The Road Festivals, and pops up at London’s more niche gigs.)

“Accomplished stuff… one to watch” – Scotsman

“Sparkling versatility” – Chortle

“A voice so expressive it seemed to simply invite laughter… Up-and-coming, you should keep an eye on this one” – Three Weeks

“Patrick Turpin only needs to stand on stage to provoke giggles from the audience” – Broadway Baby
