This is a true story. In the early 90’s I, a naive white farm boy, moved to Chicago. There I fell in love with a black man who was running for president, as a woman/drag queen. This man was Joan Jett Blackk, and he promised to ‘Lick George Bush in ’92’. Joan, real name Terrence, was an average man playing at being a superhero. HIV was ravaging the queer community and politicians were not doing anything. So Terence put on a dress to change all that.

George Orange, was born into a large American family of mostly normal people, that was his first mistake. Leaving them all behind he has hunted glamor in San Francisco, Chicago, London, and Cardiff. George has worked as a Circus Clown, M.L. Baseball Mascot, run Mary Bijou Cabaret and been a busker. He tends to say yes when sense would say no, this habit has lead him to being struck by lightning, having sex dressed as a BlueMan and many more unmentionable tales. He is currently not writing a book of his life but slowly telling the stories, live, to one small audience at a time.
