THE BUSINESS: Brand new sketch comedy from Matt Winning (insert quote) and Stuart Laws (“chronically funny stand up” TimeOut) and a third person yet to be cast (“Patient and willing” Casting Advert).

THE HARD SELL: Matt is seven-times fired from other sketch groups, Stuart happily worked at Five Guys Burgers, now they’re doing alternate sketches written by a sketch comedy snob or an idiot who doesn’t know what a sketch is. Stuart chose the name “I Am Wario”. It will genuinely be unlike any other sketch show around, that is not an empty promise.

BACKGROUND: Matt is the mind behind the cult hit The Bear Pit Comedy Podcast Podcast and Stuart has masterminded the independent production company Turtle Canyon Comedy. Together they run the anarchic late night Fringe show Comedy Roast and now they’re throwing their two minds at a whole new concept.
