In 2014 Laura Lexx did a show all about her life being relatively lovely thank goodness. While Laura was grateful to be content, it seems some people need tragedy to make comedy work… as one reviewer so tactfully put it: “one can only hope that that there’s some life-altering catastrophe waiting just around the corner for Lexx”… well congratulations Ryan O’Connor – come and see this show because 2017 has been pretty awful.
Who better than “the most delightful performer you’re ever likely to see” (GQ) to talk you through what happens when you take a year off to have a baby and find yourself medicated after a nervous breakdown. Just the sort of life-altering catastrophe a reviewer requires.
