The Man in the Fleece Gilet (Work in Progress)
This show is from a previous year's festival
A brand new show by The Artist Formerly Known As Louise Reay. He wore an old fleece gilet…The kind you find in a posh man’s house.
Finally free of the shackles of a lawsuit instigated by an estranged husband, able to do anything in the world, naturally it’s time to spoof the icon known as the symbol after he was known as the artist formerly known as Prince after he was known as just ‘Prince’. Well I can’t just carry on using my marital name on stage now can I?
“Like the teletubbies doing standup” Chortle
“I like your style” Jeremy Paxman
“Truly fantastic, utterly out there” Al Murray
“Louise reay can legitimately claim to be unique” The Independent
Restoration Levy – £1.50 of the advertised on-sale ticket price goes to Machynlleth Comedy Festival for the continued development and improvement of the event.
