Folk singer, lesbian and checked-shirt-collector Grace Petrie has been incorrectly called Sir every day of her adult life, and, having finally run out of things to write whiny songs about, wonders if there is any material for an Edinburgh show in that. At the age of 34 in a world of increasingly fraught gender politics, she feels both more and less seen than ever. Join her as she explores butch identity in a world moving beyond labels, and tries to work out where it, and she, belong in the new frontline of queer liberation. It may or may not include some stuff that could be generously described as comedy. It may or may not have some songs. She doesn’t really know but at this point she’s just happy to be out of the house
Restoration Levy – £1.50 of the advertised on-sale ticket price goes to Machynlleth Comedy Festival for the continued development and improvement of the event.
