A work in progress show from two of the most exciting rising stars on the UK comedy scene.
‘Voice of a new generation’ (the skinny) Hannah Platt is a BBC New Comedy Awards Finalist, and recently wrote and starred in her own Laugh Lesson for BBC3. Described as ‘a distinctive voice with something to say’ (Chortle), she discusses mental health in a frank and acerbic style.
‘Brilliant… natural comic’ (The Guardian) Jodie Mitchell won an Off-Broadway Award as their macho alter-ego John Travulva and recently wrote on Sex Education. A ‘standout talent…dry, charming and politically charged’ (The Stage), they dive into the surreal.
Restoration Levy – £1.50 of the advertised on-sale ticket price goes to Machynlleth Comedy Festival for the continued development and improvement of the event.
