Award-winning (nearly) rising star Raj Poojara (BBC New Comedy Awards finalist, So You Think You’re Funny? finalist) brings his WIP to the Machynlleth! Fresh from supporting Jamali Maddix, Milton Jones and Laura Smyth, Raj reflects on his Indian upbringing in the UK, the pressure of being the family’s last hope, and the wild career choices that made his parents question everything.

Expect sharp stand-up, big laughs and stories his mum wishes he’d kept quiet. If you’ve ever disappointed your family but still wanted applause – this one’s for you.
