Get Set for our Biggest Festival Yet!

The 3rd Machynlleth Comedy Festival will be bigger and better than ever with more shows, more venues and more great reasons to come and enjoy comedy in the Ancient capital of Wales on the May Day Bank Holiday weekend. With the majority of events selling out in 2011 we took the decision to expand, packing every little space we can find with the countries finest comedians.

This gives attendees the most amount of choice they’ve ever had, and some very tough choices await. Saturday 5th May will be our busiest night yet as we offer you Stewart Lee in the Tabernacle, Jarred Christmas in the Machynlleth Bowling Club followed by Jon Richardson in Y Plas, and the opportunity to watch Isy Suttie preview a new show to just 60 people in the Owain Glyndwr Centre.

Almost all the shows are now on-sale and once we’ve got the last few on-sale we’ll launch an easy-to-use schedule so you can start planning your weekend in full.
