…and much much more!

In addition to the jam packed comedy programme we also have loads of treats and surprises planned for you. All have been created by some very good friends of the festival.

Be sure to check out the programme of music, cabaret and workshops. Go on. Not even you guys can manage three days and nights of back to back comedy.

Music

The Pictish Trail have persuaded friends & artists of the fabulous Fence Records to take a R O A D T R I P to mid Wales for some pretty special performances on the lawns of Y Plas. The full programme of free gigs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights will be released soon. What a treat!

Mary Bijou Cabaret

Join the inimitable Mary Bijou Company from 10.30 on Friday night in the Rainbow Big Top on the lawns of Y Plas.  Like sirens seducing us into bad behaviour, the Mary Bijou company promise an intimate, involved evening. It’s not simply the promise of acrobatic strip-teases and circus shenanigans that allures us, but a pleasurable act of creation that sweeps away the whole audience.

Life Drawing with Carl Chapple and Tom Parry

Fast becoming a festival favourite. Our first attempt at a festival life drawing class proved so popular last year, that we were compelled to bring it back!

About the tutor: Wales based artist Carl Chapple has many years experience and has had exhibitions of his work displayed across the UK, including a solo exhibition here at MoMa in Machynlleth in 2007.

About the model: Tom Parry has many years experience exposing himself on-stage as part of the successful sketch group Pappy’s. Always looking to stretch his art he was only too keen to volunteer as the model for this class.

The class will be tailored to all levels of ability and experience and all materials will be provided.

Work from the class will be displayed in a festival exhibition.

Children’s Programme

We have a number of special events and performances for children, as well as a packed programme of fun for the little ones.

Check out the Children’s Tent on the lawns of Y Plas for details of circus skills, craft workshops and storytelling.
